Despite his affinity for the old web, Gemini's introduction indicates a proactive stance towards a more advanced and adaptable future, echoing Google's historical approach to search evolution.

In a parallel project, Google is reshaping its main search interface using AI, unveiling a generative search interface that presents responses resembling chatbot interactions before the traditional display of links and advertisements.
